Donnie stayed home yesterday to fix the Geo. He got a tire replaced, fixed something under the car that had a hole in it, bought a new muffler, replaced the battery....... Going great! They were doing the muffler but at about 11:30pm they realized that they needed a longer pipe, so it has to wait until today.
So I drive the car to my "job" at 6am today. Guess what happened.
That's right. The Car killer curse. The car overheated about 2 miles from work. At 6:15am. I took care of it, though, and then it wouldn't start. UGH!
Finally I got it working and then it was fine. No more problems.
Donnie is adding a thermostat to the list of things to fix on the Geo.
What are the odds? Out of 5 vehicles we have one that works on a regular basis. And only because we plunk $1000 on it every few months.
I sat in the car this morning and just prayed. Why? I just don't know why God is allowing all of this to happen. But He always provides and we make it. I am somewhere between amused and frustrated at any given moment.
