Cell phone for Senior Citizens, or Me.

We all know I need a Phd to run a cell phone. (Push Here, Dummy=Phd) However, I just found one that would work great for my father-in-law. He is home alone a lot. They don't have a phone, which he wouldn't answer anyway. But I worry about him, he is getting up there in age. His building has a check to make sure they are alright, but that is only twice a day.
These cell phones for senior citizens are so neat. The senior cell phones have large text for the ailing eyesight and powerful speakers for the failing hearing. The yes/no buttons instead of all those symbols that make no sense are what I need, but I know my father-in-law wouldn't understand them either.
These phones would make great gifts for senior citizens. The plans are nice, the minutes roll over for 3 months, and if you buy extra, they stay for up to 12 months. You can also order a phone that just has three buttons for the operator, 911 and a preset phone number. The operators are available 24/7 and greet the people by name and will dial the numbers for them, and even customize their phone list. Family members can also have access online to customize the phone list and plan, too.
I think this would be the perfect gift for my husband's dad, then we will not have to worry about him being alone.
