The kids came home from school before school even started! Drew was walking and got a ride home from a friend of ours who told him school was delayed. Kaytlin drove and brought Devon with her. They found out when the school was empty. LOL
Why is school delayed? Why wouldn't we have known? Well, the weather looks fine, no snow, ice, sleet, strong winds. Why would I be looking for delays? Well, it is just that COLD here. Just cold. It is -9 F. But it "feels like" 30 below F.
Looking out the window you would never suspect a thing. But our car won't start. Even with a jump. We should push it into the garage, but not going out there that long and touching METAL. Nope.
Kaytlin nearly lost her fingers opening the door to school this morning. Nope, she wasn't wearing gloves.

I noticed on the news that it's been pretty brutal up there. I hate to say it, or maybe I don't, but it was in the 60s here on Sunday.
