Our 7 Qtpies

January 02, 2008

Oh, the drama!

For the most part all the sickies have passed on by at our house. But this morning after sleeping in nice and late, Kaytlin (16) walks into my bedroom and says:
"I'm soooo miserable!"
And she sounded like she was just in agony.
"What's the matter?"
"Look at my face!"
Oh my goodness, her cheeks are red and there is a largish red spot on one cheek. Last night the kids had seen some spots on Trinity's back. Great! Some sort of mystery rash again!
"What do you think it is, Kaytlin?"
"It's a PIMPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"That's it?"
"Yes! It's a pimple! And there's another here and here! And yesterday there was one here and it was white and gross and I popped it!"
"You? You popped a zit? You, the one who has been yelling at her brothers for 2 years that you don't pop zits because it is so bad for you? You popped a zit?"
"Yes! It was so gross! I had to pop it! Oh my gosh, I have zits! Mom, you know I never get zits!"

Oh my word, the drama! I thought she was sick.

For the record: the boys had a field day with her popping a zit.

3 people think my kids are qtpies:

I have a zit poping drama queen also. You would think they were going to die or something. Very funny.

Hope her face clears up soon,
Julie

For some reason you page is not showing up its background behind the words, so it's almost impossible to read.

Oh, and I feel Kaytlin's pain.

That is really funny, but I know it isn't for Kaitlyn! Poor girl! Those zits can be nasty!

Oh, by the way...like the new page! :)
