Donnie picked up Sam today and asked him "What are you eating, boy?" Because Sam, after his two month long refusal to eat, started eating like he has a hollow leg after being prayed over by an elder in our church on Sunday. He has started to pull food out of the trash to eat.
I fed him two eggs with cheese and then a piece of peanut butter toast, and he still went for the trash within 10 minutes!
So, Donnie dug in his mouth and what did he find? Sam was eating the glass from a broken snow globe. That he took out of the trash. After eating the Christmas bulb we were a bit shocked, but now I am really beginning to wonder about him.
Can you really look at a broken snow globe and think "Gee, that looks like candy, I think I'll take a bite." And then, when it doesn't have a flavor "Hm, tastes like chicken."

OH NO!! That kid will eat anything! I hope he didn't get cut! WOW...God really is protecting him, too...as if poop isn't bad enough!

This post made me laugh outloud! But come on, don't you know broken snow globes DO look like candy and taste like chicken? (Don't ask me how I know this!)
I've always said that I'm totally amazed that any of us make it to adulthood.
