The winner is Sublimejen! Congratulations! I will give until Tuesday to hear back, then I will choose a new winner if I haven't heard back.
Update: This is now closed and a winner will be announced shortly!
Seriously, guys, you are forewarned, this post has nothing of interest for you, and will probably horrify you. Run, run away!!!
Girls, stay put!
For many years now I have been searching for a better choice for my monthly feminine needs. Disposable pads and tampons are so hard on me, as I am allergic to them, and I have not been able to use the fantastic Diva Cup due to a tilted cervix.
Cotton Mama was so nice and offered to let me review her natural pads that she makes and sells on her website.
I also tried another brand at the same time. No comparison in my book! Cotton Mama's pads not only did not leak, they did not slide around, either. I felt like I did not have my period at all. That was amazing!
Cotton Mama pads are lush, square pads that you tri-fold for absorbency, but open for clean washing and quick drying. The materials are so amazingly soft that I wanted my panties to be made out of them! I totally felt spoiled! The pads stay in place with two snap settings, making it easy for anyone to use them, no matter their pantie style.
I was in love with Cotton Mama's customer service, until I got the pads, then I fell in love with the pads.
Disposable pads are starting to get a reputation of causing longer, more painful cycles, and of putting chemicals into your system. Using natural products has shown a decrease in cycle lengths and in the severity of them. It also is so much better for the environment. The washing is really easy, I just soak them in cool water in an ice cream bucket under my bathroom sink, then throw them in a garment bag and wash them with my cloth diapers, but if you don't use cloth diapers, it would still be easy to wash them up.
Cotton Mama has offered to give a pad and a pantyliner to one lucky reader! She is so easy to work with and will make a pad you will love.
Cotton Mama offers many great products in her store, like the adorable and fun Whiffy See-Its and her very own homemade vegan soaps that are Divine.
To enter, check out Cotton Mama's website and leave a comment on another great product you would like to try some day. Giveaway ends on July 10th, winner will be announced on July 11th.
United States only.
If you just can't wait, you can place an order and put in the code CUSTAPRDIS for a surprise discount! Sometimes it is 10% off, sometimes it is free shipping, or some $ off, you never know, but it is always good!

i've been wanting to try these pads! i also have my eye on the organic large doll rattle. very adorable! this giveaway is far more useful, but i have a giveaway at nowenteringmomville going on. check it out!
Hmmm.
Saving money, helping the environment = cool
Washing groddy pads = not cool
I would need some more info, I think. I'll go check out Cotton Mama's site for some reassurance. =)
I saw a lot of great stuff that I would like to try, especially the WrapNMat, since I am still stuck using plastic wrap to pack my husband's lunches every day.
Great contest! I have been wanting to try a product like this.

Okay, I want to try the organic nursing pillow. Hopefully number 5 is a charm!
The Organic Cotton Towels 650 Gram look wonderful!
I too am allergic to most feminine products, since the birth of my last child. I have spent loads of money on different brands, and nothing helps. The Dr and a Dermatologist have no more suggestions, so I suffer through with various relief creams and allergy medicines. I would love to try these, as well as the Happy Mommy Spray...because when you take Benadryl several times a day for an entire week each month, there are lots of "pajama" days, LOL:)
i have never heard of anyone doing this before, but it totally makes sense! i would also like to try the sea pearls (though i am admittedly just a little afraid of them). thanks!
Swim Diapers are something I have been looking for and will have to get some. Thanks
These really interest me & I'd love to try them! I was also browsing the website & another thing that really interests me is the wrap-n-mat (I think that's what it's called) to wrap sandwhiches in instead of using a ziplock bag...I'd love that for my son's lunches :)
the wrap-n-map soudns like a great idea... and the cotton pad even better. with frequent trips to africa where there is no option of buying pads, this is a great alternative to packing a bunch and then watching children dig through my garbage! yuck!!!
I'd like to try the whiffy bean bags. Great giveaway, thanks!
These sound great... I'd also be interested in trying the sea pearls some day. Thanks for the contest!
I like the Organically Growing T - Peas.
I'd like to try the organic sling. Thanks for entering me!
I've suffered from chronic migraines for years and would love to try the homeopathic Migraine Headache Relief.

I was going to go with the organic sling, but then I saw they have a brand of diaper cover I haven't tried for cheaper than my fave brand! So my fave is the Litewrap Diper Cover - White.
I like Momma's Cotton Washies in the print pictured. I love all things Asian!
This pads look great! I would love to try them.

I'd also like to try the happy tummi. This looks wonderful to use on the little ones tummis.
I have always wanted to try the wrap-n-mat. It looks like a great alternative to ziplocks.
I'd like to try the wrap n mat for sandwiches and stuff for my son's lunch, or maybe the cloth nursing pads.
The wrap n mat looks really cool- I've been wanting an alternative to plastic baggies for everything.
