Saturday I was making frosting to decorate Drew's cake. As I was mixing in the food colorings I started thinking about how I shouldn't add too much, because it was too hard to lighten the color back up. And I realized that just one drop of black food coloring and I would not ever get back to true white again. I could keep adding white frosting to it to lighten it, but it would always be "dirty."
Just like sin in our lives. A little sin and no matter how many good deeds you do you can't go back to pure.
Then, on Sunday our pastor preached a sermon using the verse Matthew 16:6"Be careful," Jesus said to them. "Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees." He spoke about how the yeast spreads through the dough, like sin.
It just kind of struck me that something like that came across me twice in 24 hours.
Kinda makes you go "Hmmm."
Thankfully Jesus CAN make me white and pure again!

I think God wanted you to know that for some reason. When God talks to me, I see it in repeating, I will read a passage, hear a passage, or the same words over a few times sometimes many times till I get "IT". LOL God know's I am hard headed
