My mom is in Arizona taking care of her sister for a few weeks, so she wasn't with us this time.
Well, Jody told Sarah that she was going to her mom's for her birthday Wednesday and would be home on Thursday. After many, many attempts to reach her we finally decided we needed to take drastic measures. Thursday was the only night it would work, so she HAD to get home. Sarah and I were clueless, so we called our trusty Jeannie with the photographic memory. (OK, maybe not photographic, but she remembers everything) She came up with Jody's maiden name, the town her parents live in and even remembered her dad's name, and sure enough, found the phone number!
We couldn't kidnap her, but she did come home and we met at her house with pizza and soda and a chick flick. We didn't end up watching anything, we just talked and talked all night. It was a lot of fun. We didn't get a waitress to snap our picture together, of course, but we did take the baby's pic!
And then for fun we decided to do the Drano test to see what Sarah is having. We all think it is a boy, but we had to do the test anyway.
Sarah believes the test is determined by the amount of reaction it gives, the bigger the reaction, it is a girl. I think that the color is the determining factor, brown is girl and green is boy. By both of our requirements she is having a BOY! I will say that ONE TIME the test was wrong, but otherwise we've been right on.
Today Hope-Anne and Trinity decided to amuse themselves by playing dress up. With Sam.
He is a gorgeous kid, but there is no mistaking him as a girl, even in a pink tutu! He is 110% boy.
Donnie and Devon freaked about the pic, lol. That makes it even more fun, of course!
4 people think my kids are qtpies:
What a cutie! Guys always freak out when boys and pink come into contact LOL! Us women know it's no big deal!
What exactly is the drano test? I have never heard of it, but it sounds fun and interesting!
The draino test sounds like fun. Thanks for clarifying. My husband and I are trying for baby #1, and this might be a fun thing to try if and when we are successful.
Oh my goodness! What a sweet baby! and you're right, Sam still looks like a boy, even in a tutu! What a cutie! :D
Sam's picture looks like a blackmail shot to me. : )
