Be-Fit after pregnancy review

I have been reading and learning from Exercise After Pregnancy: How to Look and Feel Your Best by Helene Byrne.
After 7 children my stomach is no longer flat, or even close to resembling that. In fact, it is pretty much anti-flat. I did alright after the first 5 children, it was the two c-sections that robbed me of my ability to slim my abs down again.
The exercises in the book are not difficult and it teaches you how to do the exercise correctly. (No painful crunches! But the correct way to work the entire abs, not just one part.) But she also touches on many other areas that need work, too, like posture and restrengthening the pelvic floor. Not just Kegels, but much better exercises that strengthen the entire pelvic floor to eliminate that dreaded leakage during laughing, ahem.
I highly recommend this book if you need help doing the right exercises to get back in shape after having a baby. Especially if doing the standard exercises are not working, as in my case, I can't do crunches at all. The information is much more than I have ever read in all my years of reading pregnancy and post-pregnancy information.
You can also check out BeFit-Mom for much information. She also have a DVD available.
Thank you, Family Review Network and BeFit-Mom for the great resource.

Ha after 4 kids and 5 c-sections and the one more I face soon. I need a tummy tuck and a rack lift. No amount of exercise will ever lift my budda belly.
