He just adores the bear, now doesn't he? I would still have given it to my niece, but as you can see, Sam had just eaten a bowl of Cocoa Puffs. Which are chocolaty. And the bear is wearing a white shirt. It is now Sam's birthday present.
That smile makes it all worth it!
Years ago we took Hope-Anne and Cody to a Build-A-Bear in Atlanta. It was so much fun watching them pick out their animal and go through stuffing it. Then we had to pick just the right outfits. It really was a lot of fun. I think I could enjoy it without the kids, too.
Now you can bring your bear (or whatever animal you choose) to life on Build-a-bearville.com. Every bear made after October 1 has a code to use online. You can play games and interact with your animal. You can still play without one, but the amount you can do is limited. There is no cost or fees at all!
Did you know that there are many bears and animals available in the $10 price range? I had no idea it was that affordable. I think that it would be a fun birthday for my both of my daughters who have birthdays coming up. Each of them with one friend will be a nice birthday treat.
