Even the computer needs a tune-up~ A Giveaway

Thanks to Mom Central and Symantec, I was able to try out Norton's new PC Tune-Up Service!
This is so new that I can't even find it on the website. Donnie, who worked for Symantec until last week, has not heard of it, either.
I gave it a trial run! Love doing that!
I got a little card with a phone number and promotion code and gave them a call. After setting up my contact information to make an account, Tolu got started cleaning up my computer. I gave him remote access and he went to work. I was able to watch every thing he did, and could stop the session at any time. There was no danger in letting him take control.
He cleaned up my desktop, too many icons take up memory. I did not know that. He cleaned up my start menu so that only programs that are necessary start when the computer turns on. You would not believe how many programs start up in the back ground even though you are not running them!
He did some extra security steps to keep people from being able to get control of my computer without my knowledge. My temporary internet files were all deleted. Did you know there are 4 or 5 spots to empty them???? I didn't either.
Now I have a Norton Report Card center that I can go to and check up on my computer. I have 90% of my disc space available now, without removing any of my games!
Tolu left me some tips to get even more out of my computer, including faster speed.
Over all, it was a nice experience and I learned a lot about my computer. Because I am married to a computer guy, there were many things that were good on my PC, but those of you who have no clue about the inner workings (like me) of your computer would really find great benefits to this service.
Now, because I love you, dear readers, I am going to give 3 of you the very same opportunity that I had. A $69.99 value! I will mail three winners a card for a free PC Tune-Up.
The give away is open until November 30. I will choose a winner on December 1.
Leave me a comment on your worst computer woe. That is it! You may enter once a day with a new woe. You may also gain another entry by blogging this giveaway, leave a separate comment with a link. If you are a subscriber, leave a comment letting me know, or if you are a new subscriber, for another entry. If you are in another country, I will still allow you to enter. However, I will not mail the card, I will email you the phone number and promotion code. You need to be able to dial an 877 phone number. I am not responsible for any phone fees you might incur.

My worst computer woe....when the screen freezes. My computer has slowed up, and I'm concerned about how it hums sometimes. I'd love to learn and try this tune-up.

I can't see certain images on my PC. It really doesn't make any sense and I have asked many people if they also have this problem and I am the only one.

currently, our worst computer woe is the slowness of our desktop. we're not sure what's wrong with it but it's certainly not in the shape we bought it in just over a year ago. we're hoping we don't lose the pictures of our little boys.

I am with Daisy - my computer freezes a lot and it takes 10 mins to shut it down, let alone start it up!

Imagine your computer crashing just as you are approaching a deadline for work and you lose all your files! That's what recently happened to my husband and his colleague! Heartbreak for all! At least, they were able to flicker some hope as they had some data backed up!!! : ))) Lesson learned for all of us! Always back up everything on your computer! : )))

Thanks so much for this give~away! : )))

When I was in college I lost a paper I had written and I had to rewrite it. That is the worst feeling especially the day before it's due
