Spring cleaning, but only in the winter.With Thanksgiving and Christmas fast approaching I am getting into the swing of cleaning. I hate cleaning, I really do. I avoid it if I can. But I really enjoy a clean house. I want shiny, and pretty and the smell of clean. Or maybe the smell of lilacs, but that is a bit much to ask.
The Family Review Network offered a review of some cleaning products. When I went through the offered products several caught my eye.
I have been washing my wood floors with Weiman's Perfect Planet Floor Cleaner and following that with Perfect Planet Floor Polish. Wow! Just squirt and swish around with a damp mop. I gave it a good testing, too. There was massive amounts of dirty spots in my kitchen alone. (try having 6 kids, 4 cats and a dog) The dirt literally just wiped away on almost every spot. But even the tough spots were relatively painless to remove, they just took longer than the rest.
I love the beautiful shine that the polish left behind. I received several compliments on my floors the day AFTER I had cleaned them. My floors never stay clean through the next day. Never. The polish resists dirt, scuff marks and scratches! It doesn't contain harsh ammonia or formaldehyde. It is very low in volatile organic compounds compared to other cleaners. What that means to me is that my children are able to use it with no worries, no odors, just safety. I think the polish is my favorite product.
But the Weiman Natural Furniture Wipes just might be second on my favorite list. I love the shine that my furniture gave off after being wiped down with the wipes.
Again, no nasty odor or aerosol fumes. Just clean furniture with a beautiful shine. There is no greasy residue left on the furniture or my hands. I would let the kids use this without gloves.
I also tried the Stainless Steel wipes and the Electronic wipes. Very nice. I got the TV, microwave, computers, even the iPod, all cleaned up and shiny.
