My living room

My mom wanted to see pics after I rearranged my living room yesterday, so if you don't care what my house looks like, skip down a couple posts for my blogging.

This couch is where I used to have 2 computer desks. The couch used to be in the middle of the living room kind of cutting the room in half. I plan to get the kids' pictures moved down about 6 inches. That door on the left is my bedroom. Isn't that fun that it is right off the living room??? Privacy? What's privacy?
The loveseat is in the corner where I used to have the kids' toys. Lots and lots of toys. Wasn't pretty. Yes, I see that I need to fix my garland over the dining room archway. The white spot on the lens is driving me nuts! The rocking chair used to be in the archway facing the toys.
Here is a bigger shot of that half of the room. I made the book shelf look much prettier rather than crammed with books and computer stuff.

This is the front half of the living room. The TV and couch were there before. And the coffee table. The loveseat used to be where that big chair is now, next to our bedroom door. The chair used to be where the rocking chair was. And the other couch would have blocked the view before I moved it. So it was like two rooms, the living room and the toy room, as we called them.

I still may move the TV, it would be nice where the rocking chair is, but I need a different stand for it to go there because otherwise the TV falls. Ask me how I now that.
There you have it. My work from yesterday.
The living room is so open now that the kids just love playing in there. Last night Trinity and Sam had Donnie's duck and deer calls and were marching around playing them like flutes. Sam was doing a little dance with them and we were just cracking up! Sam would sometimes blow it and then say "quack." After the concert I told Donnie to HIDE THOSE NOISE MAKERS! I don't need that going on all day.
I took video, even making sure all the lights were on so it would show up. It looked great on camera, but when I got it on the computer it was pitch black. Sorry, it was a cute show.

Your living room looks HUGE! Nice job! You do not look like you've got any kids living there, let alone six! Now I need to go vaccuum

Don'tcha love getting "clean" pics of the living room before the kid-storm tears it to shreds? LOL

Looks great! What a BIG room, too!

The living room IS huge. When we were looking at the house to buy it we walked in the door with our realtor and all 3 of us audibly gasped at the size of it. The house looks SO small from the outside I thought there was no way we could fit in it. Very deceptive from the outside.

And, yes it does look like kids don't live there because I RE cleaned it this morning before taking pics, but if you look closely there is a black rubber duck and a CD case under an end table. Plus, a kid sleeping somewhere in one of the pics.

I love it! Where did you put everything else? It appears you put the toys into the little kids' room, but what did you do with your computers??

As soon as I get the pile of junk tht is now in the middle of my living room, I'll post pictures of my own living room too. Oh, and by the way, you have all kinds of privacy. You have a bedroom door! We do finally have a curtain up, but I'm not thrilled at how it looks.
