I am just completing month 2 using Sensa weight loss system. I have to admit that month 2 did not go as well as month one, or maybe it did. I am at the same 5 lbs down mark, however, that is an amazing thing after the last month. Let me tell you about it.
Between Donnie losing his job (depression= comfort eating) and going to Drew's graduation and having to eat out for every meal for a week, I ate very poorly.
I ate fast food a lot during the week in Texas. I ate a lot LESS of it than I normally would because of the sprinkles, but it was still fatty, unhealthy food. Then the next week I was extremely stressed and wanted to eat to feel better. I could NOT eat a ton, no matter how badly I wanted to stuff my face. So there were a few snacks that I refused to sprinkle because I was in self-pity mode. I still couldn't eat a ton of it. My stomach is shrinking.
Another amazing transformation that has taken place since I started Sensa is that I no longer crave sweets. I really don't even care to finish one piece of cheesecake, much less eat the normal 3 pieces I would like to eat. I am not tempted to buy candy or ice cream, and even my craving for salty snacks is highly diminished. The website says "Sensa works with your body’s natural impulses, not against them. With Sensa, there are no food restrictions. It is designed to help you overcome the biological urge to overeat, so you can reduce your calorie consumption and lose weight while continuing to enjoy the foods you love and feeling fully satisfied. It works gradually, with no shock to your system." I have to mark that as a true statement. I AM eating whatever I want, but I am losing the desire to eat, and I am satisfied with much less food. I have never felt deprived one time.
I weighed myself last week and I had gained back the 5lbs I lost plus another one. But since then I have gone back down to the same level I ended month one on. So, really, I am very pleased with the results I am receiving.
The Sensa website shows that women do not tend to see dramatic weight loss the first 3 months, but after that, they soon catch up to the men for an average of 30lbs in 6 months. I am doing good, so far. Even if I don't lose any more weight (which I know I will) I have a greatly diminished appetite and huge lack of cravings.
I am seriously impressed with Sensa so far! I really did not think the promises were even close to possible. Now I am very hopeful that I will see the 30lbs of weight loss.
