Whoa, Mama! Invasion of the Tinker Toys!

When the Family Review Network asked me if I would want to review Toobeez, which are like Tinkertoys, I thought "Great, I loved Tinkertoys! I bet the kids would love them!"
I had NO idea that they were HUMONGOUS!
Well, fun on a larger scale is just............ more fun!

Toobeez are very large, plastic versions of Tinkertoys. They do have a bigger purpose than just play, though. Don't get me wrong, they are a blast to make forts and houses and tents and more. But they are also educational.
That's right. The kids are learning! Toobeez sells these with programs to aid schools and businesses, too. They enhance creative thought skills, promote critical thinking, work on coordination, and develop problem-solving and reasoning skills. Businesses can use the curriculum to promote better communication, cooperation, teamwork, trust, respecting others, citizenship, responsibility, caring, uniqueness and perseverance in a fun format. And much, much more.

The kids were learning a great deal. I was thrilled to watch them build this house/castle/fort (depends on who you ask). Cody had the plan in his head. He had to make the sides by planning out how to get the different sized tubes to add up in length. He also had to work on team work. The other 3 kids were running to find him the correct pieces, holding pieces up, and putting things together where he instructed. Team work! Sharing! Fun!
Look at Sam having a blast running for pieces for Cody and Hope-Anne. He also enjoyed using the sides as punching bags, but he is 2, so what can I expect?

Ah! The finished product!
What did you guys think of building with the Toobeez?
"Fun! But we need some MORE of them!"
"Yeah, we need lots more!"

Now, of course, the little two? They could be found playing in the boxes the Toobeez came in.

Toobeez are so much fun, and well worth the investment. Teachers really should have this in their classrooms for special projects and math help. (there is a book for that, too!)
Toobeez has a great promotion going on for the holidays. You can purchase a 57 piece giant tinker toy TOOBEEZ kit and get a free 15 piece set along with it (a $35 value). The $99 investment is so worth it. Even Kaytlin, a 16 year old girl, walked by the kids working on the fort and said "Why didn't I have toys like that?" She would love to play with them, too. I know Donnie will be getting his hands on them, too.

I am not hosting my own giveaway, however, I want to let you know about how you could win your very own 57 piece set with the extra 15 piece set, also. Check out Toobeez Holiday giveaway. Let them know you heard about them from Our Seven Qtpies, please.
An Island Life is giving away a 31 Piece set.

Thank you so much, Family Review Network and Toobeez for this awesome review product! It will provide years of fun for my family.
