It is so easy to do. You go the My Fruit Roll-Ups and make an account. Then you make your design in their design factory. They have several great pictures to choose from, and you can write your own message, too. I am very excited to see that you can now add your own photograph!
I have no self-control when it comes to Fruit Roll-ups, so I am not ordering until close to Kaytlin's graduation open house, but I plan to get them made with her face on them and designs like this one. I know it will be a hit.
Ordering was so easy. The package came pretty quickly, I wasn't even expecting them when they arrived. I was very impressed with the shipping speed.
Taste great. Look great. Lots of fun. Easy. Fast shipping.
Perfect!

Okay, my best and worst was probably in 2000. I'm sure I've told you this b4, but on the day before V-day, Ray was very STRONGLY hinting about proposing to me.
However, we ended up double dating with his son and his son's gf, because his gf's parents would not allow them to date alone. Hmmm...I guess they were kinda like you. We went to some stupid teen movie, and then out to Chinese. I was hoping they'd at least sit at a different table or something, but that didn't happen.
Anyway, Ray never did get around to asking me to marry him. It got pretty late, so I decided to stay at his house instead of driving 30+ miles home.
The next morning, I was really mad at him for getting my hopes up...and I let him know it.
I was in the bathroom putting my make-up on with the door open, (still arguing with him)..when he came in and said, "Do you want to marry me, or what?".
Not exactly the most romantic proposal in the world, but I figured he's so stubborn that if I didn't say yes, he'd likely never ask me again. So it was the worst...but if you count the next day, it was the best.
Jean's proposal was better than the one I got! You know that my husband doesn't have a romantic bone in his body!! The best V-day would probably be the only one he was home for and then I think that I cooked dinner for him. Coborn's had the Surf and Turf deals with a small lobster tail and steak. I made salad and baked potatoes to go with it. I don't do seafood so he ate both lobster tails and his steak and I had steak, potato and salad. I was a good cook - even if I had to say so myself - which I did. Then we ended with cheesecake - both of our favorite dessert - yummy!!!
It seems of the past 4 valentines hubby has been on military travel. He is gone for his birthday tomorrow but I was a nice wifey and had a cake for him the night before he left...
What's Valentine's Day, LOL! Chuck and I never even celebrate it at all. We just never have any extra money to spend. Don't even get me started on our anniversary!
I don't know if I really have a best/worst Valentine's Day story, but I did have one Valentine's Day that was more unique than the others.
A few years ago, my husband had recently started a new job and had to be gone on a long overseas business trip over Valentine's Day. His boss felt badly about sending him away for so long and over a "holiday" to boot, so he sent me a dozen roses in my husband's name. It was quite a surprise to go to the door and find a flower delivery, since my husband never sent me flowers all of the years we had been married.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, my husband was also feeling badly about being gone over Valentine's and figured he would send me something special on his own (not being aware of the gesture his boss had already made on his behalf). He went online and placed an order on Cook's Illustrated for the entire set of hardbound magazines and arranged to have them sent to me.
The only problem was, that shortly after my husband placed the order, we found out that our credit card number had been misused (by someone else) and they shut our account down, telling us they would send out new cards. This happened before the book order was fully processed, so instead of receiving a box of cookbooks on Valentine's Day, I instead received a letter from Cook's Illustrated, saying that money was owed on my account.
My husband called later that day, fully expecting me to thank him for his gift. I thanked him for the roses, which he admitted he didn't send, and figured they likely came from his new boss. He then asked if I was enjoying the cookbooks, at which point I had to tell him that his ultra-thoughtful gift (he knows me so well!!!) had fallen through, and instead, all I had received was a notice in the mail saying that my order wouldn't be shipped until I had paid in full.
We did eventually set things right and about a week later, I received my cookbooks. In the meantime, I had a beautiful bouquet of roses to enjoy until my husband returned.
Like I said, it's not really a best/worst scenario, but it is definitely one of my more memorable Valentine's Days and the funny thing is that my husband wasn't even home at the time.

I have not posted to your blog before but I could not help but post on this one... my husband found out that he was being deployed on Valentine's Day. I came home from work and immediately knew that something was wrong. Happy Valentine's Day. Thank God he is home and safe and no longer in the military so no more ruined Valentine's Day's!
my story is so bad it is funny. I was in a Bible study. The plan was we all would get a date to Olive Gardens. I had washed my car so it would be nice for my date. I had fried Calamari. The temp had suddenly dropped while we were in the OG. We were the last couple to leave and my door was frozen shut. I flagged down friends pulling out. They of course teased me for washing the car, before getting it open. Next we were going to roller skate. I had just gone around the rink a couple of times when i felt sick. I skated to the BR, didn't make it to the toilet and pucked. I have never tossed my cookies so violently. It covered the entire stall top to bottom every one of them even the door. I offered to clean it, I felt so guilty. They said they had a hose. He hadn't seen it. If he had, he would have accepted my offer. I had to go home instead of skate with my friends. I never ate calamari again. I did however later get a job at that OG. There is a reason it is a parking lot now. lol Padma
Sent my hubby on a scavenger hunt all over town - ended up a hotel to find me in the hottub in a red/white bikini!@

i'd select a valentine's theme for my daughter's class. I celebrate it as much as the kids want us to. I make cupcakes and my husband and i give them little goodie bags :) I'm having so much fun making friends and blog-hopping again this year.
Thanks for such a generous giveaway! I hope I'm chosen as the lucky winner!!!
I love the personalixed fruit roll ups! I want to get some for my sons very much!
My best/worst Valentines day memory is not with my husband. It is from high school before I knew him. I don't celebrate Valentines day, never have BUT this one boy in school apparently had a crush on me, we were really good friends and he found out he was moving just before Valentines day. I was bummed because we were good friends and I kinda liked him too well I opened my locker one morning to find a rose and a note saying that he wished he wasn't moving and that he would miss me and all that stuff. He left the next day and I havent seen him since. It was really sweet. But still doesnt make me want to celebrate LOL
I'll share mine, but I'm sure I won't win...because it has meaning to me and not to everyone else. When my husband and I were dating, he would always give me 3 roses...one for each word (I Love You). The Valentine's day after we got engaged, he gave me 3 dozen roses...a dozen for each word (I Love You). Although that might not seem romantic or anything, it meant the world to me!
My worse Valentines Day was a few years ago. My then boyfriend decided that since we weren't getting a long, he would break up with me- on Valentines Day! I hated him for a long time, but now we're friends!

My best was the vday I was a freshman at a new high school. I'd only been there 1 month. I was sitting in homeroom surrounded by girls getting flowers (thru one of those school sponsored flower sales) and chatting along. I was still very much the new girl and in high school, image is everything.
Well, they called my name up. I'd received a flower. The note was signed "a secret admirer" and I got to carry that flower around all day long. It made me feel so good because I fit in, even if just for a moment.
It's hard to be new and in high school, that's really a tough situation. The anonymous sender never came forward but the rose meant everything to me for years!

Best was definitely when my fiance proposed:)

2 years ago my daughter woke up early on Valentine's day and decided to make me breakfast in bed. When she came in, she brought a bowl of lucky charms with fruit snacks, pickles, salt and pepper, chocolate syrup and of course milk in. The look on face told me that she really worked hard at putting this together. It took everything I had to eat that, but I did, and she was so proud. I love her so much for being so thoughtful, but hopefully she won't be doing that again!
Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!
My favorite Valentine’s Day gift was a 7 years ago. I was a new mom and back then if I got a shower a day I was thrilled. My husband surprised me with a gift certificate to a spa. It had the works, a massage, a facial, manicure, pedicure, hair cut and style. So after a day of pampering I come home and find my husband all dressed up, a new dress, shoes, and my nylons laying on the bed. He had arranged for my sister to take our daughter overnight and he took me out to a real fancy dinner and even booked a hotel room for us for the night.
Since It Is About that time of Year, I would pick a Valentines day theme for my nephew

On Valentine's Day 06 my husband was deployed. In the morning the doorbell rang and left behind was a vase of flowers but no note. I thought "Is this from Jason or do I have a secret admirer" haha. Either way I brought htem in and they put a smile on my face. I knew Jason was on a mission that week and I wouldnt hear from him so I left to run errands in town and pick up some groceries. When I got home I had another vase at my front door. I thought that was odd but noticed a note was attached to this one. With excitement I rushed in and ut down my stuff and came back for the flowers. This time the note read "One vase for each year you have been in my heart. Here is hoping the next year wont be spent apart." We spent our first Vday together last year :) This year? Deployed again lol!
My best and worst is actually the same Valentine's Day--1996.
Hubs and I had been dating for about a year, and I took the whole week of Valentine's Day off work, because he said he wanted to do something special.
The week comes up, and they not only scheduled me to work on Valentine's Day, they scheduled me for the WHOLE DAY. A DOUBLE SHIFT. They just decided to give me the following week off. I mean, I didn't have plans or anything, right? Ugh.
Hubs and I were sooooo upset. He wanted me to call in sick, but I just couldn't do it. So I ended up working the whole day. It was really disappointing. I met him during my break to eat lunch (it wasn't anywhere near lunch time) and he took me to the duck pond at the park to eat take-out. Me, in my dirty, stinky work uniform.
We were feeding the ducks, and he was standing behind me with his arms around me. He asked, "Will you marry me?" I said, "You know I will."
He turned me around to face him, and held up a diamond ring, and said, "No, I mean, WILL YOU MARRY ME?" I just started crying and said yes. And then had to go back to work.
He had planned on taking me up the coast to a beautiful beach and propose to me there... but he wanted to do it on Valentine's Day, so he had to settle for the duck pond at the park.
I would love to use these for my son's birthday party!

My best was the year my husband gave me a whole day to myself. He fed the kids breakfast, took care of them all day and then even cooked dinner. He truly gave me an entire day off which was amazing.
I had the chicken pox during our first grade valentines day party, so I couldn't go. My neighbor took my valentines to school but he forgot to bring mine home. Later my cousin came over and we ate ice cream. I still have the photos with me in red polka dots with chicken pox and my cousin who looked like big bird all dressed in yellow. We still laugh about it when we see those photos.
When I was in 2nd grade I really like this boy, I mean really liked him and I thought he liked me too. Then Valnetine's came and he gave me a ripped peice of binder paper that read "Dear Maureen Hi!". Besides the whole note, my name is NOREEN!! We had gone to shcool together for years (same teacher as their is one class per grade) and he did not even know my names.
I would use the birthday design. These are fun!
Well my husband isn't the most "romantic" but he is very thoughtful and sweet. He knows how much I love getting letters so one V day he gave me a rose bud and a very beautiful handwritten love letter. It was so sweet of him. I of course cried like a baby.

I absolutely love that picture of your family at the bottom of your blog. It's just beautiful.
I wasn't very popular in school because I was very quiet and stuck to studying. My junior year my dh sent me 3 dozen roses for Valentine's day. I was the talk of the school that day and it was so fun. lol
I just love the Valentine hearts design.
Thank you!!
20 years ago this Valentines Day my husband and I were married in Las Vegas. We just wanted a simple wedding so we had a ceremony in a little church. The wedding wasn't fancy or extravagant but the our marriage has been wonderful and thats what matters.
I think this year's Valentine's Day will be my best - and my worst. Does that count?? It's not here yet, but I already know. I know because my husband is in the military and has been away for over a year now - no Valentine's Day celebration there - so it will be our worst. With that said, it will hopefully be my son's best! He is three and we are going to have a mommy/son date day and Valentine's Day celebration - and I'm in that aspect, I'll remember it as one of my best! :)
P.S. We LOVE fruit roll ups! Thanks for such a fun giveaway!
I get the same thing for Valentine's Day every year - a beautiful and sentimental card from my husband.
(A different Donna) My worst experience is not getting any valentines. :(
My worst was when I was in college, I was dating a guy who forgot it was Valentines Day, He didnt call or anything I was heart broken. Well I guess thats why he is an ex. Thanks :)
