Last night at chore time (as if we have a set time, LOL) I told Hope-Anne to give the kids a bath for her second chore and told the boys what needed to be done. Cody had cooked, so he had one more chore to do, and Devon had 2 to do. I said they could do the dishes, clean the kitchen table and floor and take out the trash.
Cody claimed the trash, and Devon said he was doing the trash because he called it first........ in his head.
Devon was on the computer so Cody went for the trash. That started a funny wrestling match for the trash chore. Cody's friend Brian and I were watching and laughing.
While we were all distracted Hope-Anne got up and took out the trash and the recycling and none of us noticed! LOL The trash can was even in the living room on the floor next to where they were wrestling and we didn't notice! We were cracking up!
So then I said that one of them needed to take over the bath time chore. They went bolting for the bathroom!
Brian was a little worried that they would drown the kids fighting over who was going to wash their hair, lol.
