1. It is safer to breastfeed. There are no BPA's to leech into babies food through plastic bottles or the lining in the formula cans. Your baby is not allergic to your milk, it is perfectly made for them, so no milk allergies, no soy allergies.
2. It is convenient. No matter where you are or how long you've been there, you won't run out of food. No extra bag to tote along. There is no preparation to it, either, making it very convenient.
3. Breast milk is nature's super food. It is perfectly made for humans. Just the right combination of fats and proteins and vitamins for your child. It digests easily. It helps develop the brain without having to add ingredients and pay more money for superior products. It is so perfect, in fact, that you can exclusively breast feed a child for 1 year with no added foods at all.
4. It is free and good for the environment! You do not have to pay for anything related to breastfeeding. Mom is already eating, so there is no additional food to buy. There is no equipment needed, and nothing to replace. In fact, you can save so much money in one year by breastfeeding rather than using formula, that you could buy a new washer or refrigerator. There is no waste to go in the land fills, either.
I am writing at the Examiner today, finish reading Ten reasons to breastfeed your baby over there.
