Apparently bling in the mouth is not a new fad, it has been around for 2500 years or so. Look what I found on National Geographic. Mexico's National Institute of Anthropology and History has found evidence of advanced early dentistry. From dentures to bling bling, they seemed to have it. The bling was found in mostly men, and in all walks of life except the royalty. It appeared to be a decoration.
Apparently there is nothing new for people to try. Tattoos, piercing, bling in teeth........ OK, I take that back, there are disturbed people who split their tongues to look like a snake tongue or put horns i their heads to look like some weird creature. Not sure how new that is, but ewww.
