My husband started a man's man competition last year and today was the second annual Iron Warrior competition. They do things like basketball, volleyball, archery, darts, computer games, axe throwing and boccie ball competitions. Guy stuff.
There was a lack of volunteers willing to referee this year so Hope-Anne volunteered to help and take pictures. She was the ONLY female there all day.
So tonight she comes up to me and says:
You wouldn't believe how many times those guys farted and walked away like they didn't do anything! I lost track at 59 times and that was at 12 o'clock! (they started at 9am)
I so WOULD believe it! Donnie said that he didn't even notice anyone farting. Hope-Anne said that he was having a conversation with a guy about New York and the guy ripped one out and kept on talking. Donnie didn't even notice, lol.
They guys had fun and the Axe Throwing was a huge hit, I think everyone except Donnie did that competition. Donnie had to do a lot of refereeing.

8 people think my kids are qtpies:
I think I need to move where you live, it always sounds like you have so many fun things to do around there.
There is tons of things to do here in the heart of Silicon Valley but its expensive here.
So maybe there was less flatulence after the axe-throwing competition? Certainly hurling around axes....um.....well, forced out the worst of it?
Men...
I'm already thinking about how we could set up an Iron Warrior competition here. It would have to involve guns, I think, and people would probably get hurt. There would be just as many farts, though, I'm sure of it!
I wish Dan would have been home to help and do some of the refereeing. Hope it went well for them - I am sure the guys all had fun!
I honestly thought I'd already left a comment after this post! Oh well, I told Hope-Anne yesterday, that I LLOL'd (Literally Laughed out loud) when I read this post. The thing I thought was the funniest, was that she actually counted them! Ray denied that it ever happened, but right after that, we went out to the field to launch her rocket...where he let at least 3 of them rip...so I totally believe it!
You need to post some pics on here from the Iron warriors thing. We got to church a few minutes late and I missed them. Tried to watch online...but the camera was on Chad most of the time...ooops!
I meant to say Molly's rocket, not HER rocket. They launched rockets in science at school today.
Boys, 'nuff said.
Seriously, though...most guys take pride and gloat about it.
Good dispatch and this fill someone in on helped me alot in my college assignement. Thanks you seeking your information.
