I love a good birth story, who doesn't? So, lets get them blogged! There's even a little prize or two for the best stories! The most miraculous, the funniest, the meanest/stupidest nurse/doctor, anything that makes your story worth repeating! No nightmare stories because I'm sure some first time moms do not want to be petrified!
The contest ends February 18th, and I'll post the winners on February 21st.
Send me a link in my comments when you have your story posted. I want the stories in your blog to be eligible.
I'll even post a couple of mine, but I am not eligible to win, of course.

25 people think my kids are qtpies:
ohhh this sounds awesome! I think I will do a quick check to make sure I havent posted my middle boys birth story and then if I havent i will enter it.
besides, I love prizes!
Sounds fun, but where to begin? I have eleven birth stories to choose from (12 babies, one set of twins)! Seriously, I don't have enough time to write them all! LOL! I'm sure I'd have one for every category you can think of!
I'll have to see if I have enough time to write at least one of them up. Maybe my "favorite" birth - my one and only home birth and of my largest baby - she weighed 11 lbs 1 oz! Eek! That one makes a good story!
Don't know if my birth story will be ready in time for the contest :) COUNTING THE MOMENTS until the "Once upon a time" of this one.... But I assure you it will be on the blog as soon as it can!
My last birth story was great but not posted on blogger (it was pre-blogger)...
I happen to have posted a couple of funny things about my two birth stories already. I'll link to those, I guess.
Great idea! I don't know a single woman who doesn't like to tell the story of when she gave birth to at least one of her kids, and usually all of them!
Oh! Guess I ought to add the link! sorry

Don't know if they will do well in a contest. I kinda tend to write like a textbook. But maybe someone will get something from reading them.
Here is my birth story.

yay for contests!!
Okay, well I've posted my story...it's nothing wondrous or amazing, any more than anyone else's...I mean, it's wondrous and amazing just because, of course!! But, I haven't gotten to tell it in a long while, so I figured what the heck! ~Ann~
I, too, am counting the minutes until I have birth story #6 to share. At this point, I hope it is totally uneventful and not worth a read! As far as I'm concerned, the less interesting the better where labor and delivery are concerned.
If I make it before the end of the contest, I will share. (I am scheduled for the 20th if I don't go on my own this week). Even if I don't make the deadline, I will probably share because, I agree, all women like to relive their births because they are such magical moments. So, I'll probably post all the details on my blog anyway.
Thanks for all your great comments. I appreciate them!
It was 3 years ago on Feb 18th when I had my Amniotic Fluid Embolism. After CPR 3 times and I was given 120 units of blood, hundreds of prayers, survived a stroke and recovered back to my 5 children I could take this prize! My blog is in progress and I will be writing more about my story in the future. My AFE was a rare event so please be open to children...God blesses Moms!
Thanks for hosting this! I posted my birth story on my blog.

I'm going to have to move mine over from Blogger, but I'm assuming only 1 entry, am I right!
I love contests!
You can enter as many birth stories as you have! Each one is unique and special and completely eligible. However, I will only pick one for a winning entry from each person.
ok mine is up :)
OK, I am not sure about the Mr Linky thing, but here's a link to my first story... not my more recent one, however... hopefully I can get that one posted too. What fun!

I have loved reading all the birth stories! Thank you QTPIES7! Mine are not spectacular enough to win a prize however this was such a great thing to document for the kids to read later on.
I recently posted our story on my blog (it took 3 days so it wouldn't be so long) It can be found on January 10-12 on www.thechosenchild.blogspot.com.
I love reading others stories also.
