Callapidder Days had a bunch of book give-aways, and I finally, finally won something! I love contests and give-aways, but I never win. Now I have!
The Reliance by Marylou Tyndale! Finally a pirate and Christian romance all wrapped into one!
I can't wait to read it!
5 people think my kids are qtpies:
I just bought both The Redemption and The Reliance, and they are now stacked in my "to be read" pile, which is currently higher than my bed. Care to race and see who gets done first? At the rate that I get personal reading done, they could both easily sit there for another two years. I am lucky if I can finish a book a month usually, and I already have two books currently on the go.
Congrats on your win! I enter lots, but haven't won anything up to this point, unless you count my Lobsterfest gift basket, but that didn't come from an online entry.
I'm like you... I finally won something too :) from the same contest! I won The Redemption which is the book prior to the one you won! You'll love it when you receive yours... the author gives you a nice surprise inside :)
I just can't for the life of me imagine what a Christian/pirate romance book would be...not sure I want to know. I really don't get the whole pirate frenzy lately either. I have absolutely NO interest in watching any movie about pirates...oh, except I can't wait for the new VeggieTales "Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" movie next Spring!
Oh well, enjoy your book anyway!
LOL, I used to read romance novels all the time, and I loved pirate novels! But now I don't read those because of my relationship with the Lord. I don't read smutty stuff, no intimate relation stuff at all.
So, this seems exciting, all the piratey stuff with no smut! (at least I hope so)
I do like the Pirate movies, and I am also looking forward to the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything movie! We are huge Veggie Tale fanatics here. Even my teenagers get excited when a new one comes out.
Hey, Congrats! I have two other contest book giveaways that I've linked to at Bloggin' Outloud. Pop by and say hi and then see who's giving away books. Thanks! Lyn (friend of Dane Bramage) at Bloggin' Outloud
