The Toilet Zone Part 2

Donnie was able to return the toilet, even though we had installed it and it was on sale. Yippee!

I told him to go ahead and get his "manly" toilet, and I did want white. He took his mom with him and she talked him into getting a different toilet. It is a bit fancier, and actually I do love the style, especially with our old house. The handle on the box was porcelain and beautiful. The handle in the box was non-existent.

The store is just too far to run to for something as cheap as a $3 handle that he could get in town, so he didn't go complain. (I would have, and probably will)

He got it all together and it leaked.

So I picked up another wax seal.

One of the screws on the pipe is broke off. Great.

The tank leaks, the bowl leaks in the basement, and the toilet rocks.

The seat matches the bowl in color! But the seat is round and the toilet is not. LOL

I have a bucket in the basement to catch the drips if anyone forgets and uses is while we are gone. I think a plumber is in order this time. And I may be bringing this toilet back, too, since it didn't have the parts.
