Donnie and I went out last night as a sort of anniversary date, but mostly just to get some stress relief from parenting issues. We went out to eat, not a big deal, just KFC, who apparently think that turning up the heat so that you are sweating will stop you from eating too much at the all you can eat buffet. And it works.
After that we went to see Monsters Vs. Aliens, but the theater didn't have the 3D version, which was a bummer.
It is a pretty cute movie. Not a monster hit (pun intended), but good. We'll probably buy it when it comes out. We will probably even see it again in theaters if we can find someone who has it in 3D, there are some scenes that would be way cool in 3D!
Overall, I think it is a great movie to take your kids to. Trinity and Sam both loved it when Donnie took them a few weeks ago, Sam even sat through the whole thing. It wasn't scary to them, but they don't tend to have that problem.

I made my neice take Josiah (6) to see the movie, he came back all excited about the movie he loved it.
