Our 7 Qtpies

More reading time fun!

The I LOVE YOU Book by Todd Parr is one of Sam's favorite books. He likes looking at the things the kids do to get into trouble. I worry that it is giving him ideas, lol.
The book is teaching kids about the unconditional love of parents, and it does portray that very well. Yes, we DO love them even when they write on the wall, or throw food all over us, but I do not want to encourage it. Obviously Sam and Trinity like this book more than I do, but I do like the book.
It is important for kids to know that even though we get mad at them for the things that they do, we still love them. So we read this book often, they need the reassurance.

The pages are so colorful, too. I love the bright, bold color choices that draw the kids' attention. I also enjoy the snuggles while reading it. There is a page about loving it when they give you kisses and when they need hugs, and my kids just have to give kisses and hugs. It is a fun book to read.

You can get The I LOVE YOU Book at Amazon for $9.99, or less for a used book.
