And we have a wind chill warning/advisory going on!
So, guess what we had to do today? Put a heater in our dog house. That is how cold it is with the wind. The poor dog, build like a husky, can barely stand to be out of the dog house.
We've been looking at some heaters for the garage and the house. (yes, even our cars want heaters) We are not sure if we want gas propane heaters or infrared heaters. We found some infrared that were electric that sounded great, no gas bill and are cool to the touch, but I still don't believe that it doesn't take much electricity.
It would be nice to get a vent-free natural gas fireplace for our house, though. Donnie has always wanted a fireplace. We are wimps, we are cold at 68 degrees in our house! We are looking into a fireplace for our living room. You can even buy mantles for some of the vent free ones, with prices you can't beat at DESA Online. I would have expected $1000s to get a fireplace.
