Our 7 Qtpies

November 11, 2008

Owww! What was that?!

I've been working hard at making my craft/computer room get set up and functional this past week. It is hard work, but I am about 3/4 of the through it.

Last night we got the computer desk and computer moved upstairs. No easy task with all the tons of paperwork and review books and products and paperwork associated with that.

So, here I am sitting at the desk trying to write reviews and I find myself further and further away from my desk. Every time I try to scoot in under the desk, I roll backwards.

I set the desk on the wrong side of the room, because it slants the other way, lol. Not great for being able to stay at the desk with my rolling desk chair, but nice that if when I spill the drink will fall off my desk away from all my books and papers.

This morning I was sitting here working and Sam was standing in the chair choking hugging my neck. He was playing with whatever he could reach, like the sewing machine, candles, etc. All of a sudden I felt a sharp stab in the back of my neck!

What on earth was that!?!

Sam had gotten hold of the pin cushion and thought it would be fun poke me with a pin. He didn't even warn me first, much less ask me if I wanted to play that game.
I took the pin away and very gently poked the top of his hand so he could see how they hurt so that he won't do that again. I don't want him poking Trinity or the pets. He didn't like that poke, and it did the trick. He felt bad about stabbing me and hugged me and told me he loves me!

Oops, somehow I missed this post. That's why I wasn't sure where you put your 'puters. I thought it was funny though about you rolling away from your desk. This house is very much the same way. My computer room seems okay, but walking through the rest of the house is kinda like a tipsy fun-house. I finally got my entertainment center situated so that the drawer that's full of DVD's doesn't open itself up, and most of the furniture upstairs needs shims under it so it sits even somewhat level.
