Parenting is the toughest job in the world.
Is there anything else to add to that?
One day you are just tearing up in pride over your child, and the next you are mourning over their dumb choices. You still love them and are still proud of who they are, but you just grieve over them sometimes. You have to fight for their very soul at times. You can see them falling and falling, and you can't let go, there are no limits to what you want to do to save them. Sometimes you have to let go and let them fall, but not before you've tried to keep them safe.

I agree with you. There are times we need to let our kids "fail" "fall" "get hurt" because they need to learn thats it a part of life, that is does happen or if they keep making dumb choices that its a consaquence of their actions. Because if we as parents always resue our kids how will they learn when they always have that parent safty net...
