Chocolate~ It's whats for breakfast!

My kids love chocolate cereals. It is a battle every time I take them with me shopping for cereal. I don't mind once in a while, but I want them to have healthy food, too. Well, healthy without me having to get up and cook for them from scratch.

I was secretly thrilled when I saw Chocolate Cheerios on the shelves at the store. I even picked it up without the kids asking for it. I trust Cheerios brand.

I don't like chocolate flavored foods, so I have not tried this. My kids love it. But more importantly, my husband loves it. He said it isn't too sweet, it is flavored and chocolately, but not sugary or overly sweet.

I like that it has 8 grams of whole grains in every serving. You can also have fun using Chocolate Cheerios in some recipes.

Of course I start the kids day by YELLING at them to rise and shine GET UP! My kids just usually have cearal in the week day mornings, its the weekends where I make the all out breakfasts.

This would be cool to win.

One of the things I do to help get the kids (and myself!) off to a good start in the mornings is the kids have to be dressed before eating breakfast on school days (M-F). For me, that translates to getting my shower and dressed before breakfast begins (7:30 AM). Then, on weekend mornings the kids are allowed to have breakfast while still in their jammies, as a special treat. That way Saturday's are nice and casual after a busy school week. And on Sundays, they don't get dressed for church until after they have eaten, therefore avoiding spilling food on their church clothes.

Sounds like a fun gift to win. Chocolate scented spa kit .... sounds yummy!

We have cereal a couple of times a week. We actually tried the Chocolate Cheerios and the kids love them! On days we don't have cereal - we have french toast, bacon and eggs, or pancakes. Sometimes we splurge and have cinnamon rolls (from Pillsbury). Even when we just have cereal, we usually have fresh fruit to go with it and juice and our vitamins.

we're cereal/oatmeal eaters and chocolate lovers, so we've been wanting to try this! we love breakfast for dinner, so we save the pancakes, french toast, biscuits/gravy, etc for dinner time rather than breakfast :)

I like to have a variety of breakfast items in the house (cereals, oatmeal, bagels, etc) so everyone can find something they like (or are in the mood for). If I have chocolate cereal for my daughter...I know she'll have a smile on her face! Thanks for the review and giveaway!
