Our 7 Qtpies

Why do teenagers think they know everything?

I am getting so sick of teens thinking that they know more than adults do. Come on! We WERE teens and "smarter than our parents" at one time, too. I think we know what we are talking about. Plus, we have many more years of life experience. We probably have many more years of trusting God, and Bible study than they have had, too.

Ugh! It makes parenting so much fun, though.

But, since my kids' friends read my blog, I am respecting my child's privacy and can't publicly blog that person's unbelievable stupidity, lol. Or other teens, too.

I can blog my childrens' school's unbelievable actions, though. I think I shall, too. I just need a few more facts, but it looks like there is mold in the school, and they know it, but are lying about it. I believed the principal saying that they had fixed everything and had mold testing that came up normal. (everything has a certain amount of mold) However, a friend got the districts test results from last year and there are possibly 3 major problems that were supposed to be immediately fixed that were not.
In the meantime, I am not sending my kids to that school until I find out if our sickness is caused by the school's issues. I have tests scheduled for tomorrow. Cody and Hope-Anne both say that in certain areas of the school they get sick, light headed and such. They have had frequent headaches, too. Another boy in the school was found to be full of mold in his body yesterday. But because I am keeping them out of school until I can rule out an environmental cause, they won't let Cody swim tonight.

They are calling in mold specialists for testing and allowing the other parent to have her own specialist come in and test.

I am waiting on some more information.

That is freaky! Hopefully your kids are OK....and hopefully the school can get rid of the mold!

I'll have to ask Molly if she ever feels sick anywhere in the school.

I hate to keep her home, she's behind in her schoolwork already...and thankfully, we've all been pretty well lately. Thank God.

BTW, CJ was just looking over my shoulder at your blog and said, "Hey! is that Win-Ban on there?". I really think he's got a crush on her.
