Have you ever thrown a mixer out the window?

Well, I did. I was shocked that it didn't break the first time I threw it out. It broke the second time, so I couldn't run any more videos, lol. I'm stuck with what I filmed. But that's OK, it was funny, even if the sun was bright and I messed up the very difficult and silly name. But whatever! Hey, if you love me, would you go to youtube and give me a 5 star rating?? I'll pay for it. Do you want linky love? I can pay that. Thanks! Love you back!

Samuel is doing better at eating, but he still seems to be tugging at his ears in spite of the antibiotics. I haven't heard about the last test result STILL. But I think he is probably going to be fine, I'm just going to have to bring him back in for his ears again and we'll see what is going on.

I have some goofy little kids here today, and I'll post some pics later, the camera is recharging.
We made some cards for fun, and let me warn you, teaching two 2 year olds and a 3 year old how to use stamps is not a job for the faint of heart. They insisted on inking the back of the stamp over and over and then would get mad when it wouldn't make a pattern on the paper, lol. I think they wanted to see the design when they inked it or something. Anyway, they did not get it. But they liked the pictures when I butted in and helped them with every single stamp. We are all covered in ink.

It's a great day!

Devon is our little athlete. We expected him to do pretty well with football this year, but he really hadn't been saying much or playing much when we were there. But the varsity coach told him to tell his coach (the 9th grade team) to put him as wing man (is that right?). So he did. And yesterday he got a new nickname. They call him Adrian Peterson. I didn't get it, but when I told Donnie, he went nuts0 "That's my boy!" and a bunch of grunting and Tim the Toolman Taylor stuff. Apparently Adrian Peterson is a Viking player who kicked butt on Sunday's game. And now he gets to do a practice with varsity and dress for the game and sit with them, *maybe* even play, but probably not.

And then, I found a way to hear my favorite song in the world! Thank you Wordless Wednesday! I went to More Questions than Answers and found this great vid! Now it is a great day. Praise the Lord!

Here are a few things I've come across this week that I just have to share.
Boggle:
Look at these bizarre bandages! I honestly don't understand why anyone would even think about getting them, much less pay $4.65 for them. But I am curious as to what the free toy is.


Bacon or steak on your arm, or leg, or wherever. Its just weird. That company also has some cute bandaids that are colored kissy lips to kiss your boo-boo. Those are kind of cute.

Thrill:

Now this, this is cool! I seriously would have this in my house!
We love fish tanks here. It is way too expensive, but it would be the talk of all guests. You could also fill it with seasonal decorations, or make it a lizard or hamster cage. Or if you were one sick weirdo, a spider. I'd NEVER go to the bathroom in your home again, and would probably never come back, but you *could* do that. If I had a spare $300 I would definitely buy this toilette tank.

This would be one of the few commercials that actually make me WANT to buy a product! Very well done! Laundry seems peaceful and exotic if only I had this washing machine. My clothes would want to be washed, it would be so easy.

The biggest THRILL: Crazy Japanese Guy! I found this funny at 3 am, so if you don't, well, I can't help you.

Thursday Thirteen #17

Thirteen Random Things about Lisa
1. I've been para sailing. It was scary getting off the ground, I was afraid I'd be drug face-first across the beach and water, but being in the air was not scary. It doesn't even feel like you are up high. It even got kind of boring sitting up there.
2. This is my best friend. I have a couple of best friends here in MN, but this is my heart sister best friend. I can't imagine my life without her. She lives in Virginia, but we both have unlimited long distance! The baby is Gabriel, her youngest.
2. I find this funny, and oh, so very true! I probably do look that frumpy, as I sit here in my bathrobe, but my nose is not that big.
3. I want to learn to knit completely because I want to learn to make these dish clothes. I'm sure I'd do other things, too, but this is cool! 4. Such as these bibs! I just happened to have ordered the blue one yesterday! I can't wait to get it! I'll be reviewing it, I'm sure.

5. I am obsessed with cloth diapers, though it isn't as bad lately. But does it get any cuter than this?

6. I have a rather strange, and sometimes mean, sense of humor.

10. I feel totally inadequate to do my jobs: mothering, women's ministry leader, friend, wife, Christian.

11. God is bigger than that inadequacy, and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Where I am weak, He is strong. Through my weakness, He shows Himself.

12. I have to leave for a meeting in about 8 minutes. I am on the computer doing this, while both of the kids who are coming with me are sleeping. I am responsible for dressing them AND me, none of us are dressed, lol.

13. I love blogging and email and surfing the net, and don't forget Youtube, I love that, too. But I can't figure out things I want to do, like change the word "comments" to something else, and yes, I know blogging101 has the instructions, but it doesn't work on new blogger, and I can't get music to play on here.

Our new pasttime

My kids have been harassing me for being a "Youtube addict" even though I am not addicted, I can quit any time I want to. The other night Cody and Hope-Anne and I were watching some practical joke videos but Devon was sleeping, as usual lately, so he didn't see them.
So last night we made Devon watch a couple of them that we were in tears over, like this one:

Those were funny, but they led to this one that had us literally CHOKING with laughter: (possible bad language here, too)



I have NEVER been laughing so hard I was choking, coughing and crying at the same time! It was awesome! I forgot all about time and the kids were up until 11pm! On a school night!!!
